Volunteer at Food Bank for Larimer County with Project Helping

Do good. Feel good. Help the Larimer County Food Bank with behind the scenes operations in the warehouse. This could include sorting food drives, bagging commodities, and repackaging food. Volunteering gives us a deep sense of happiness, reduced stress levels, and an increased sense of purpose so start your week positively by volunteering!

Comedy at the R Bar

Justin Going is hosting some of Colorado’s best stand up comedians at the R Bar this week. The R Bar is a place for comfortable expression and individuality among the LGBTQ community. Allison Rose is the featured comedian for this event and she is joined by three other Colorado comedians. This inclusivity offers a place for these local comedians to make you laugh until your stomach hurts! 

Pie and Beer Pairing Dinner

Coming up soon on Thursday, March 29th is a unique and cultured event held at Ginger and Baker in northern Fort Collins. Horse and Dragon Brewing Company and Ginger and Baker are hosting a Pie and Beer Pairing Event starting in the evening on Thursday. Why not stop in to this historical site and enjoy five courses of pie themed delights – starting with savory hand pies and tartines (slices of bread with savory toppings) and ending with a pie inspired spin on desserts. Enjoy a beer cocktail on arrival as well as beer specifically paired with each of the five courses and a final pour course of wine barrel-aged beer. Also, hear from ginger and Baker chefs and Horse and Dragon Head Brewer and Owner. Spots are going quick, so don’t miss this fantastic opportunity!

 

FCFF Triathlon

Get your fitness on at the Fort Collins Fitness Festival Triathlon! Participants will go to and from local fitness studios and spend about 30 minutes at each location. This gives people an opportunity to try out new fitness activities around Fort Collins. Transportation will not be provided, but running, biking, or driving are all possible methods to get to the various studios. If you are a Fort Collins Fitness Festival ticket holder, the event is FREE for you! If not, you can purchase a separate triathlon ticket for $35!
